The complete project is a permitted development involving the conversion of an existing five storey office block and car park into residential accommodation. The development comprises 166No private apartments located close to Hounslow Central tube station.
As this is a Permitted Development a Code for Sustainable Homes rating was not required, the building is to be refurbished to the latest Building Regulations Part L1B.
The development is provided with a central gas boiler plant producing all heating and hot water requirements for the residential dwellings. All units are provided with Heat Interface Units, automatic billing system, heating via radiators.
The existing drainage system was extensively expanded to allow for additional soil stacks to all flats.
