We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding team in our Leeds office.
The Role
Your role as a Principal Mechanical Engineer will include delivery of projects from both existing and developing new clients and assisting the Associates & Directors in planning the delivery of projects.
A particular emphasis on project delivery, organisational support and team growth is required to support local and national clients.
You will be working on a varied portfolio of projects. You will take the lead and deliver larger projects, with values of £100million+.
Projects span across sectors including Commercial Offices, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Infrastructure, Education / Further Education, extra care, public bodies and Residential
What We Are Looking For
- Strong technical knowledge in mechanical engineering and relevant UK and applicable EU regulations, design guides, etc
- Able to develop effective relationships with well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills
- Manage projects to avoid technical and commercial risk
- IT literate with an understanding of relevant IT packages i.e. Revit, IES and Microsoft office
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Excellent organisational and planning skills to effectively work to timescales and deadlines
- Proven track in building successful teams
