An FHP Apprenticeship Success Story

11th February 2022

To mark National Apprenticeship Week 2022, we would like to congratulate one of our former apprentices Nathan Town, on his recent promotion to Intermediate Mechanical Engineer at our Leeds office.

A real FHP success story, Nathan originally joined as CAD trainee and while completing his training, discovered an interest in Mechanical Engineering so joined our Apprenticeship Programme.  A natural aptitude and fantastic work ethic saw him achieve excellent results and become an integral part of the Leeds team, offering a unique perspective with his experience across both disciplines.

Speaking about his recent achievement, Nathan tells us, “I was thrilled to be promoted to the position of Intermediate Mechanical Engineer at FHP and really enjoy taking on the additional responsibility of the more senior role, as well as gaining further insight into the industry and tailoring that knowledge to produce the optimum outcome for both our clients and the business.

Since joining FHP, I have been very lucky to find a number of role models, who took me under their collective wings and helped me develop from a complete industry novice, into a focused and driven member of the engineering team.  As well as continuing to learn and progress in my own career, I also hope to be able to offer that same invaluable guidance and support to any FHP newcomers setting out on their own journey in the industry.”

With a view to acknowledging his individual achievements and supporting continued growth across the business, we would like to wish Nathan every success in his FHP career.  Well done!
