A new state-of-the-art facility is to be built in Leeds on behalf of Labcorp - a global diagnostics and drug development company at the heart of life-science.  FHP – Building Services Consultants have been appointed to design the mechanical, electrical and public health services for this prestigious new facility.

The gold standard clinical pharmacology investigational unit will be based on the former Drapers Yard site, located in the Temple District of Leeds just minutes from Leeds City station.  The development will be dramatically transformed with a new façade, roof top amenity space with a green, sedum roof and new landscaping and planting on Marshall Street and Sweet Street.  At the heart of the Temple area of Leeds City Centre, biodiversity will be enhanced, and the setting of heritage assets protected, including the adjacent Grade 1 Listed Temple Works.

Ryan Mullin – Regional Director at FHP said - ‘this is a superb scheme for FHP to be a part of and will bring real confidence to the Temple Works area of Leeds. The project is being designed with sustainability, energy efficiency and occupant well-being in mind which is where we bring real value to the scheme.’

FHP will provide the highly efficient and sustainable MEP design services whilst delivering the optimum performance for the multiple internal spaces.
