FHP are delighted to have been appointed by Harworth Group for MEP engineering services design at Gateway 36, which is part of a 127-acre development on the former site of the Rockingham Colliery.

Harworth Group is developing the site in a move that will provide in excess of 1.1 million ft2 of modern commercial space, generating hundreds of new jobs.

The first buildings are set to be completed in Spring 2022, providing more than 100,000 ft2 of commercial space.

FHP Director, James Taylor said: “This is significant project for FHP within the region.  Having already carried out the services infrastructure design for the site, we are very pleased to have been selected to design the MEP services for buildings.”

“We are committed to strengthening our presence in the region and this latest triumph comes at a time when we will see further growth in 2021 as we continue to secure new appointments across the region and the UK.

We are looking forward to working with members of the design team which include, The Harris Partnership, RWO Structural and Civil Engineers, RPP, & Johnson Mowat.
