A former central post office sorting/delivery facility, Islington Square is a 4.5-acre site situated behind Islington’s Upper Street, comprising of 263 residential apartments, 108 serviced apartments and 15,800 sqm of luxury lifestyle brands and restaurants alongside a health club and cinema.

The overall development comprises of new and existing blocks, A to F and the Mitre. Built over two basement levels, seven above ground levels, with private roof terraces and amenity areas.

The heating and cooling plant is located at basement level and consists of gas fired boiler plant, together with a ground source open loop geothermal system consisting of 5 bore holes.

The Role of FHP

FHP was appointed to provide technical assistance throughout the construction stages and review the Sub-Contractors MEP detailed design and their working drawings.
