FHP were appointed by AECOM to overview the mechanical and electrical design. The building had been procured under a design and build contract.
The Role of FHP
FHP’s duties were furthered by being asked to carry out on-site design team meetings on behalf of the end user and to ensure the installation was executed as per the drawings and to the client’s expectations.
The Project involved extensive involvement with the stakeholders of the project to ensure the project was in line with their expectations.
Challenges
FHP assisted with the stage 4 design on behalf of the contractor with the client’s input. Taking the client-side generic design to a scheme that would satisfy the stakeholders requirements proved to be a challenge.
