Situated either side of Plaistow Road and adjacent to Plaistow Underground Station, this redevelopment of two existing sites comprised of 182 residential units, with 82 apartments arranged over 13 storeys at Valetta Grove and 100 apartments arranged over 21 storeys at London Road. This site offered a mix of private rented sales tenure type, and included 1-bed, 2-bed, and 3-bed duplex apartments.

In addition to the residential apartments, the scheme also incorporated a new Neighbourhood Centre at Valetta Grove and a mixed use Commercial 4-storey building adjacent to the London Road tower, housing a retail unit and gymnasium.

 The London Road tower building also provided an Event Space and a Café.

The Role of FHP

Red Door Ventures, developer for Newham London Borough Council, employed the services of FHP to provide Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health design services to RIBA Stage 4.1.
